‘Beauty and the Beast’
Our Easter workshops took on a very dramatic air as we narrated a live action account of the fairytale ‘ Beauty and the Beast’. We challenged our students to work with a constant underscore of music which meant timing lines, timing moves and listening instead of watching for cues. The end result to both workshops was really quite magical. There was so much for the audience to take in from the story, to the action, to the music, it really was a cinematic experience. There are so many wonderful elements to a theatre performance and we are determined that our students will experience as many of them as possible! A huge well done to both casts, it is wonderful to watch you all flourish as we challenge you! Many thanks to our spellbound audiences who continue to support our journey through theatre!
